A funeral will be held Thursday evening for one of the two men murdered in December during robberies at two Edmonton Mac’s locations.
A service for Karanpal Singh Bhangu, who died after he was shot in the stomach at a Mill Woods Mac’s location, will be at 7 p.m. at Park Memorial on 111th Avenue at 97th Street. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bhangu, 35, had moved to Edmonton with his young son last summer to join his wife Kiran, a teacher in the city. Bhangu taught in the technology field in India before taking the job at Mac’s.
A funeral for Ricky Cenabre, who was shot at a Pleasantview Mac’s location on the same night, was Dec. 29.
Laylin Cole Alex Delorme, 24, and Colton James Steinhauer, 27, along with a 13-year-old boy who cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, each face two counts of first-degree murder.
