Gogol Bordello: Aug. 12 at Union Hall.

With their chaotic gypsy-folk tunes and raucous live shows, Gogol Bordello would be the perfect act for the Folk Fest.

Instead, Eugene Hutz and his band of merry musicians are performing the day after — Monday, Aug. 12 at Union Hall. Tickets are $35 plus service charges. On sale: Friday, May 17 at Ticketmaster. (Facebook and Live Nation presales start Thursday.)

They’ll be hawking their sixth and latest album, Pura Vida Conspiracy, due July 23. Malandrino, an acoustic ditty about Hutz’s “singing heart,” is the first single:
