Edmonton city police seized nearly $100,000 in drugs and paraphernalia after a search of a downtown home.
The search warrant was executed Feb. 4 at a home near 95th Street and 105th Avenue.
The seized items included:
- 86 grams of marijuana;
- 2.5 grams of methamphetamine;
- about 10,000 of various prescription pills, including OxyContin and dilaudid;
- cellphones;
- two scales and multiple drug bags;
- replica firearm.
Louis Cook, 54, and Tammy Severight, 40, were charged with multiple counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to the public.
