Two of Sonic 102.9 FM’s folkier Band of the Month-ers, Zerbin and Owls By Nature, are joining forces for a Thursday, Aug. 15 show at The Starlite Room. (Open to all ages.) Tickets are $14 plus service charges at Ticketfly — and include a copy of Zerbin’s new EP, Touch.
The pop-folk trio, led by Jason Zerbin, won two Edmonton Music Awards for its uplifting single and video, New Earth, in 2012. They now reside in Victoria, B.C.
Owls By Nature won Group of the Year at the EMAs in April. Their single and video, Heartbreaking Ways, is also uplifting … for totally different reasons.
