Dark, pulsing beats and wintry synths weave their way through Comaduster’s full-length debut, Hollow Worlds, now available via Bandcamp.
Edmonton expat Real Cardinal, who now lives in Vancouver, is the sound designer behind Comaduster — his music includes a sprinkling of dubstep, glitch, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, and Tangerine Dream. His 10-track album also features Nightsail, a track with Edmonton’s pop adventurer Cecil Frena, better known as Born Gold.
Comaduster will perform Sunday, Nov. 11 at The Pawn Shop, 10551 Whyte Avenue, with Edmonton’s tribal industrialists, iVardensphere. They’ll be celebrating the release of their latest album, The Methusela Tree.
