Edmonton expat and Purity Ring vocalist Megan James was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, performing 25 Bucks with rapper Danny Brown.
(Note to the person who runs Kimmel’s YouTube account: HER LAST NAME ISN’T JONES.) (UPDATE: Yay! They corrected it!)
James and her fellow Ring bearer Corin Roddick were in Edmonton over the Christmas holidays, visiting family, playing a few small gigs (including one that got busted by the cops), and more importantly, recording new material for their second album. Their Polaris-shortlisted debut, Shrines, was released in 2012.
