Dan Mangan + Blacksmith will return to the Winspear Centre on March 11, 2015. Ticket prices have yet to be announced but the presale starts Tuesday at 10 a.m via their label’s site. Hayden and Astral Swans will open.
The Vancouver musicians last played the venue in 2012 … along with The Rural Alberta Advantage, who happen to be playing two sold-out shows TONIGHT at the Starlite Room. (Here’s my latest story about the folk-rock trio.)
Mangan and his band will be touring their long-awaited album, Club Meds, due Jan. 13. Listen to the first track, Vessel, which also happens to be featured in the Simon Pegg film, Hector and the Search for Happiness.
