Megan James and Corin Roddick of Purity Ring made their debut at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday night.
The electro-pop duo are the first Edmonton-bred musicians to perform at the mighty musical marathon in Indio, California. More than 75,000 fans are expected each day of the three-day festival, which also runs April 19 to 21.
I’ll be there during the second weekend — I’m freakin’ out to be honest, there’s SOOOOO many people — but I watched some of Purity Ring’s first weekend set via one of Coachella’s YouTube channels. And, thanks to Steve Jobs, I managed to grab a few screenshots via my iPad.
Purity Ring perform Monday, April 29 at The Starlite Room. Tickets are sold out.
