Masked fiends Slipknot will add some metal to an October full of pop and classic-rock concerts.
The Iowa-bred musicians, who dress like monsters from a horror film, will perform Sunday, Oct. 18 at Rexall Place with thrash stalwarts Suicidal Tendencies and metal newcomers Beartooth. Tickets are $29.50, $39, $55 and $75 plus service charges. On sale: Thursday, July 30 at Ticketmaster.
Slipknot, fonted by Corey Taylor, released their fifth album, .5: The Gray Chapter, in 2014. Their last visit to Edmonton came in 2009.
