A three-year-old Edmonton boy has been found safe after being declared missing by police Friday morning.
Police say the boy was in the care of a family member who was taken to hospital by paramedics around 1:30 a.m. Police believe a female bystander then took the boy into her care.
Edmonton Police Service spokeswoman Anna Batchelor said the child was found unharmed in the same area, in the care of the bystander. She said there is no indication of any wrongdoing on the part of the bystander.
