STONEY CREEK, Ont. — Alexandra Poznikoff scored twice — including the overtime winner — as the Edmonton Thunder edged the Stoney Crek Sabres 4-3 on Thursday on the final day of round-robin play at the Esso Cup, the annual Canadian women’s midget ice hockey championship tournament.

Jessica Healey and Amy Boucher also had goals in regulation for Edmonton, which has a win, three losses and the OT win in the Canadian women’s midget hockey championship. Goalie Tracie Kikuchi made 23 saves for the win.
